Dexter Santos is an international Blues dance instructor and performer currently based in Seattle, Washington and has called Santa Clara, California; Indianapolis, Indiana; Austin, Texas; and Barcelona, Spain home.  He travels around the country and around the world spreading his passion and joy for Blues dancing. Find out more about him at dextersantos.com.

When not traveling and dancing, Dexter is  a freelance graphic designer, artist, and illustrator. You’ll most likely find him in cafes and bookstores indulging his artistic activities and introvert side or going for walks in his favorite neighborhoods.  He has done illustration work in collaboration with author Patricia Kearney on the Auntie P series of children’s books: Where’s Grace, What’s Sharing, and Positively Upbeat. Find out more about Dexter’s art at dexterityink.com.

Dexter likes mochas and cortados for his coffee, playing Star Wars Battlefront on the Xbox One, going on walks and hikes, cooking, reading graphic novels (Batman and Star Wars) and books (poetry, historical fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy), listening to music (Jazz, Blues, Soul, Classical, and film scores), practicing yoga, has a fondness for both cats and dogs (especially the family’s youngest Pomeranian pup), dotes on his nephews and niece, and occasionally strums the ukulele.
